When you receive your bonnet/tail after shipping (or after extended storage):
- Completely mist wrinkled areas and ears using a spray bottle and cold water.
- Smooth and re-shape the ears, and hang to dry for an easy iron-free refresh.
- Shake to fluff fur.
For creases in fur:
- Thoroughly wet the fur, smooth out the creased areas, shake out the excess water, and hang to dry.
- Shake out the item occasionally as it dries to increase air flow and fluff fur.
- For any stubborn creases, wet the fur, and brush the fur AGAINST the nap, shake out excess water, and hang to dry. Brush fur again during drying process.
Washing instructions (Owl and Swan):
- Due to the feathers, these bonnets are spot clean only.
- Spot clean with cold water and a mild detergent.
- Hang by bonnet strings to air dry.
Washing instructions (witch hat, bat wings):
- Spot clean only.
Washing instructions (doll bonnets, dresses, mermaids ):
- Use a gentle sink bath or spot clean using cold water and gentle detergent.
- Smooth and re-shape.
- Hang by strings or lay flat to dry.
- Shake to fluff fur if applicable.

- Use a gentle sink bath or spot clean using cold water and gentle detergent.
- Smooth and re-shape the ears.
- Hang by bonnet strings to air dry.
- Iron Brim
Washing instructions (Bonnets with Faux Fur & Fur Collars, Lion, Wolf, Tails, Pixies including doll sizes):
- Use a gentle sink bath or spot clean using cold water and gentle detergent.
- Shake to remove excess water from fur.
- Smooth and re-shape the ears.
- Hang by bonnet strings to air dry.
- Shake to fluff fur. Avoid heat sources near fur.
Washing instructions (non-brimmed, no fur):
- Use a gentle sink bath or spot clean using cold water and gentle detergent.
- Shake to remove excess water.
- Smooth and re-shape the ears.
- Hang by bonnet strings to air dry.
Note: Some bonnets include fabrics that are hand-dyed. They should not be cleaned using strong detergents or stain-removers.
